Finding Course Reserve Materials
Course reserves are library materials selected by faculty for use with specific courses. These materials may be print books or media or exist in an electronic format (ebooks, articles, streaming film or audio, etc.). Course reserves circulate for a shorter loan period to allow for more equitable access. In addition, the Library purchases copies of all required texts and films presented in class for course reserves.
Print books or media on reserve can be found at circulation desks in all branches of the Library.
To locate materials that have been placed on reserve by faculty, choose Course Reserves on the library homepage:
- Type the course title or name of instructor in the search box and click the large red arrow to complete a search
- Click titles of individual items to access electronic reserves or to locate print items on reserve at HL or a branch library.
To access print reserve items, please inquire at the appropriate circulation desk
