The George J. This collection contains postcards depicting locations from all over the state of Maine. There is a focus on Bowdoin College and on Brunswick (together, they take up almost half of the collection). These postcards vary in manfacturer, color, greyscale, sepia, medium, and usage. Some postcards have never been written on, while others have been posted. Although the majority of the postcards in this collection are the standard size, this collection also contains larger postcards. A lot of the post cards are not dated, but appear to be from the 20th century.
This collection is divided into three series based on the sizes of the postcards. Each series is arranged alphabetically by location.
