The Library has a new Wiley Blackwell “Article Select” pay-per-view tokens model where we pay for each journal article as it is accessed. We are now fully underway with over 1500 journal titles in the catalog and linkable from our databases!
A few important things for users to know:
- If you look up a Wiley Blackwell journal title in the catalog or get to it via one of our databases, and you have another choice for accessing it via JSTOR or Academic Search Premier, for example, please choose one of those instead of the WileyBlackwell link. That will save us quite a bit of money!
- If you want to include a Wiley Blackwell journal article on Blackboard, do not LINK to the journal article – you must download the PDF to your desktop and then upload it to Blackboard. If you link to it, we will get charged for every view! We created a webpage with information on how to do this, and this page is linked from the Library’s Services for Faculty page (under Reserves) and from the IT Blackboard page.
