Mitchell Legum Doctorem, honoris causes creavimus et renunciamus cumque omnibus juribus et honoribus ad hunc gradum pertinentibus donarimus." Honorary Doctorate of Law in Latin, 13 June 1999, with laudatory letter from the president of the college. Both are in a green cylindrical box with gold Dartmouth seal on cap.
