A. Shere Punjab. Try the poori and the lamb curry.

The Bowdoin College Library is not just one building!  The BCL includes the Hawthorne-Longfellow Library, which is the main library, and the four branch libraries: the Art, Music, and Science libraries and the Language Media Center.  The George J. Mitchell Department of Special Collections & Archives, named for Senator Mitchell, is housed in the Hawthorne-Longfellow Library. Together, all of these libraries make up the Bowdoin College LibraryStudent in Stacks Check ‘em out–they all have great collections and study spaces!

Online Music From the Library

Welcome to Our Blog!

We are so glad you’re coming to Bowdoin. We’ve created this blog to introduce us to each other:  for the rest of the summer and fall, we’ll be adding weekly posts to help you get acquainted with the Library.  We’ll include some “Three Questions For…” interviews with current students and Library staff, and highlight some research resources.
