What can the Bowdoin Library offer you?

- A nationally distinguished collection exceeding one million volumes.
- Access to other collections -- NExpress-- a consortium of college and university libraries in New England; also MaineCat and WorldCat.
- Four branch libraries including the Art, Music, and Science Libraries and the Language Media Center.
- Extensive digital collections-- article databases, periodicals, reference sources, music, images and more.
- Wired and wireless network access in all library locations and laptop and wireless card loans.
- Need a laptop? Ethernet cable? Want to try out a Kindle? You can check these out from the circulation desk
- Comfortable individual and group study spaces, including rooms equipped with a varying combination of computers, whiteboards, large screen displays and TV/DVD players. You can reserve a room online for your study group.
- Access to foreign language television programming in your room, including channels in Spanish, French, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, German, and Italian, plus news reports in 42 different languages.
- Collections of manuscripts, rare published works, and historical records and images (disable pop-up blocker) documenting Bowdoin College.
