Adding a Printer in Windows XP
Begin the installation by clicking the "start" button and then "Printer and Faxes" as shown below.
On the "Printer tasks", click "Add a Printer."
Click Next to Continue.
Select the "Network Printer" option to add a network printer and click next.
Specify a Printer by selecting "Connect to this Printer". In the Name field, type the server name "madison" preceded by two back slashes (\\) and the printer name as shown below and click next to continue. Click Here for a list of printers.
Select Yes if you want to make it your default printer and click next to continue.
The Printer has now been installed. Click Finish to close the window.
