Accessing Library Databases from Off Campus
Bowdoin College students, faculty and staff may connect to the majority of library database resources from home or elsewhere by using their LDAP (email) username and password when prompted. No special browser settings are needed. For more information contact the Library reference desk at (207) 725-3227.
NOTE: You must be a current student, faculty or staff member of Bowdoin College to use these services.
If you are having difficulty logging in, please contact the IT HelpDesk during normal business hours at (207) 725-3030 or email help3030@bowdoin.edu to confirm your email username and password. For all other errors please contact Mike McDermott, 725-3856, mmcderm2@bowdoin.edu
If you are not a member of the Bowdoin College community you are welcome to use our databases from inside the Library. If you are a resident of the State of Maine you also have access to a number of free databases via the Maine Infonet Research Databases.
