EndNote Filter Help for Readex Databases
Follow the steps below to save results and import them into EndNote:
1. If viewing a citation, click the Export Citation link OR When viewing the results list of a search, click in the "Add to my Collection" box.
2. Select View My Collection from the upper right hand section of the screen.
3. Select the Export Citation link
4. You may be prompted to select a program with which to open the file. Either RIS Default, Web Helper, or EndNote should work fine.
5. The EndNote program will begin, and you will be asked into which library you wish to import the references. You must use an existing EndNote library, which may reside on the local machine, a network drive, or a floppy, usb or zip disk.
6. If you are prompted to select a filter, choose RefMan RIS1
7. You should now see the references listed in your EndNote library. Other references are temporarily hidden. If you wish to see all of the references in your library choose References / Show All References.
1If you do not see the RefMan RIS filter, choose Other Filters... and then select it from the list.
