EndNote Filter Help for Proquest Databases
Filters allow you to import citations from a database into EndNote. The instructions below work for the following Proquest databases:
Follow the steps below to save results and import them into an existing
EndNote library:
| 1. Select the records you would like to export by clicking
|
| 2. When ready to export select Export from
the top menu bar |
| 3. Choose Export directly to ProCite, EndNote or Reference Manager. |
| 4 You may be prompted to select a program with which to open the file. Either RIS Default or EndNote should work fine. |
| 5. The EndNote program will begin, and you will be asked into which library you wish to import the references. You must use an existing EndNote library, which may reside on the local machine, a network drive, or a floppy, usb or zip disk. |
| 6. If you are prompted to select a filter, choose RefMan RIS1. |
| 7. You should now see the references listed in your EndNote library. Other references are temporarily hidden. If you wish to see all of the references in your library choose References / Show All References. |
1If you do not see the RefMan RIS filter, choose Other Filters... and then select it from the list.
