EndNote Filter Help for Biblioline Databases

Filters allow you to import citations from a database into EndNote. The instructions below work for the following BiblioLine databases:

Follow the steps below to save results and import them into an existing EndNote library:

1. Enter your search in the search box and click the button.
2. On the next page, check the results that you want to export to Endnote. Select Output:Marked Citation from the pull-down menu on the right and then click Export.

3. Choose Endnote on the next page.
4.The EndNote program will begin, and you will be asked into which library you wish to import the references. You must use an existing EndNote library, which may reside on the local machine, a network drive, or a floppy, usb or zip disk.
5. If you are prompted to select a filter, choose the filter that matches the name of the database from which you are importing1
6. You should now see the references listed in your EndNote library. Other references are temporarily hidden. If you wish to see all of the references in your library choose References / Show All References.

1If you do not see your database listed, choose Other Filters... and then select if from the list. If it is not on the Other Filters list you may need to download the filter to your machine from the Library Resources Compatible with EndNote page.
