Filters allow you to import citations from a database into EndNote. The instructions below are for the following databases:

Follow the steps below to save results and import them into an existing EndNote library:

1. Check the items which you wish to save.
2. Click on the "Export" button on the lower right of the screen.
3. When the Export window opens, click on the "Means of retrieving exports" tab and check "Immediate download".
4. Click on the "File type" tab and check "DAT format".
5.Click on the "Export" button.
6. The references will be displayed in a new window. Select all of the window (Ctrl+A).
7. Copy the contents and paste into a word processor document. Save the document as a "Text Only" (*.txt) file. Save the file to a location where you will be able to find it later, e.g. the Desktop
5. In EndNote, open the library into which you wish to import the references
6. Choose File / Import
7. Choose the text file that you saved in the previous steps
8. You may need to choose an Import Filter. If not already selected choose "Annee philologique" in the Import Option box.1
9. You should now see the references listed in your EndNote library. Other references are temporarily hidden. If you wish to see all of the references in your library choose References / Show All References.

1 If you do not see Annee philologique listed, choose Other Filters... and then select it from the list.
