Follow the steps below to save results and import them into an existing EndNote library:
| 1. When viewing an abstract or html of a document, choose the [Download to Citation Manager] link. (Note that not all references have this option available.) |
2. Select EndNote, and then click on the Download button![]() |
| 3. You may be promted to choose a program with which to open the file. Choose EndNotePlus. |
| 4. The EndNote program will begin, and you will be asked into which library you wish to import the references. You must use an existing EndNote library, which may reside on the local machine, a network drive, or a floppy, usb or zip disk.
If you are prompted to select a filter, choose EndNote Import (Generic). |
| 5. You should now see the references listed in your EndNote library. Other references are temporarily hidden. If you wish to see all of the references in your library choose References / Show All References. |
