American public opinion index

Lists thousands of questions, aranged by subject, which were asked by pollsters from over 140 different polling organizations. The full questions and responses are reproduced in a microfiche collection which is shelved in the Microforms Room as Fiche 1152. Data from 1986+ is contained in Polling the Nations.

This series presents the questions and results of thousands of polls conducted by one of the most well-known polling organizations. The material is arranged chronologically by the dates the polls were conducted; a detailed subject index in each volume helps locate relevant topics. Other sources for public opinion data, including polls from foreign countries, are shelved in the same vicinity in the Reference Department.
