Primarily images from the College Archives that document Bowdoin College campus and people from the 19th century to the present.
Include the Strout Collection, 1918-36, of negatives and prints of the Brunswick area, Maine resorts, and post World War I France; and the Shulman Collection, 1930s-50s, of Bowdoin-related negatives. Significant holdings within manuscript collections are also described.
Contains commercial films and other videos related to apartheid, collected by the Maine Project on Southern Africa and made available through Bowdoin.
