Classics
Because of its history as a liberal arts college, Bowdoin has
gathered many volumes of Greek and Latin literature in sixteenth-,
seventeenth- and eighteenth-century editions. Totalling about 475
in all, the titles include works of Aristophanes, Plato, Horace,
Ovid, and others.
