Books & Other Printed Materials
British History
Besides the early British imprints
already noted, the collections contain more than four hundred volumes
of English history, including many volumes pertaining to the Glorious
Revolution and the Restoration, biographies of the monarchs, histories
of London, and other similar items. The published works of Professor
Roger Howell (Bowd. 1958 and president
1968-78), an eminent American scholar of British history, are included
