Series contains complete accreditation reports, including self-studies, photographs and all other supplementary materials, for the 1992 and 1998 reaccreditations. The American Association of Museums recognizes roughly 750 institutions nationwide as accredited. Each is subjected to an intense reaccreditation process at least every ten years.
