The Bowdoin College Archives collects and maintains those college records possessing enduring legal, fiscal, historical or administrative value. The purpose of collecting such records is to provide documentation of the development and growth of the College, particularly of its functions of teaching and research, its role in the community at large, and the activities of the faculty, student body and alumni.
