Digital Initiatives Group

Kat Stefko manages the Digital Initiatives Group. She coordinates the distribution and management of digital projects and works with the team to develop and deliver a cohesive digital strategy and excellent digital services.

Mike McDermott is responsible for providing project management and support for the integration of technology into library operations and digital resources. He oversees the management and maintenance of library computing hardware, software, and servers and provides technical support for Library web development and access to Library digital resources.

Coral Sheldon-Hess coordinates the design, development, organization, evaluation, and maintenance of the Library’s web presence. They provide technical support for Library services, processes, and special projects, and they manage access to the Library's digital resources.

Summer Unsinn serves as Bowdoin’s administrator of the library’s catalog (Compass), working in concert with systems staff at Colby and Bates. She also works to ensure accurate and reliable data within the catalog to promote discoverability of materials by patrons.
