Connecting Your Laptop to the Network
There are two options for getting on the net with your own laptop in the
Hawthorne-Longfellow and Hatch Science Libraries:
- Connect through your laptops ethernet port to one of our high-speed
ethernet jacks, or,
- Borrow a wireless access card to insert in your PCMCIA card slot,
and enjoy the flexibility of wireless
network access. (You can also buy your own wireless access card
if you wish - use of wireless on campus is growing).
